Do you know anyone with dignity?  I do my dad has the ability of strength.  He never shows off, always uses it for a reason.  So far he is the only one that I know that it does not control him, his life, or his family.  he is the one that comes to me mine when someone says dignity.  Who is yours?  Leave me a message.

Friends in Trouble

Have you ever seen someone being treated unfairly?  Have you ever done something about it?  Did you help or just forget it and walked away?  Or did you help that kid but in a way that was not worse?

 At my old school you would see kids in fights, bad words wars, and just pain beating up kids.  But than one day I saw one of my friends getting hurt the only thing on my mind was how could I help her with making it worse.  Then the only thing I did was stand up for her mainly it was not hard because all I was just said was “Why are you hurting people?  Do you do it for laughs? Dose it make you feel on top of everybody?” and those words just confused the bully and he backed off without hurting my friend or I.  And that day he secretly past me notes and asked me to help him because he had a big problem after I helped him we became friends and he never bully anyone again.

How does knowledge give you power?  To me it means that it can get you to were you want to go in life.  There are lots of power like tech power, math power, science power, language art power, and social studies power.  Every subject is a knowledge power that can get you anywhere.

Have you laugh today? I have in Ms. Herring class at IDEA Mission.  Do you know what makes you laugh? the main thing that makes my laugh in anything funny.  But is there any type of humor that you don't like?  There is one humor that I don;t like and it is when people make fun of other people.

Why this school is different, how I became a IB Learner, and what I learned this week at IDEA Mission

IDEA Mission is very different from my other schools because the teachers all know that we are going there is going to be 100% of us going to college and there are no excuses for not going.

This week week at IDEA I learn what is mean, mode, range, minimum,maximum, and median in math class with Mr. Iuen.  In Mr. Schu class when are learn millimeters, centimeters, meters, and kilometers. In Ms. Reyes class we learned about  how stuff travel to different places.  In Ms. Herring class we learn how to grade each other Reader Response Journal.  In Ms. Hinojosa we learn how to make a blog.  In Mr. Gulino we learn about nouns, verbs, adjevtives, and the abc"s.

I am an IB Learner by being a thinker, caring, risk-taker, balanced, reflective, open-minded, principled, communicators, inquirers, and knowledgeable and by doing these I became an IB Learner.
